Working Bridges is an innovative program that employs creative practices that help to improve employee productivity, retention, advancement, and financial stability by applying knowledge and problem solving directly in the workplace.

Partnerships are forged with local companies to assist them in providing a broader range of benefits, including advance pay/emergency loan funds, access to community resources and work practices to better meet the needs of their economically diverse workforce.  Education of management and supervisory staff helps the employers to develop a better understanding of the wide-range of challenges affecting their lower wage employees.

SEVCA’s shared on-site Resource Coordinator provides on-the-job access to resources and assistance to employees facing barriers, enabling them to remain at work while accessing the help needed to resolve issues that affect both their personal and professional lives.
