Please note: We are now working on a waiting list. If you are in possession of an application for Weatherization Assistance, please do not mail it in at this time. Applications are “live” for 6 months and then they expire, which means you will have to start over again by the time we get to your application. If you are interested in Weatherization Assistance, please call to have your name and address put on the waiting list. Thank you for your patience.

 

 

The Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) is a national program, which began in the 1970’s to help low-income households cope with rising fuel costs.  In the last ten years, WAP has become the nation’s leading residential energy efficiency program. The goals of the Weatherization Program are Energy Conservation And Healthier Living Conditions for low-income Vermonters who either own their homes or rent.

 

  

SEVCA is the service provider for Windham and Windsor counties.  Weatherization service is at no cost to residents that meet income guidelines
