Weatherization Installer Certificate Training
This training includes instruction for safe work practices as well as instruction in the theory, methods, techniques, and tools for the installation of energy efficiency retrofits. The training focuses on demonstration and hand-on application of advanced air sealing and insulation techniques, blower doors, mechanical ventilation, hand and power tools, safety measures, furnace ductwork problems and solutions, accessing attics, etc. Weatherization Installer Training includes lecture material on building science and construction technology as well as lab exercises.

Prerequisites: None. However, an understanding of construction principles and terminology and basic math will be helpful
