VERMONT green

VERMONT green is an energy training partnership program that helps workers acquire or enhance their career skills in the green job industry. The statewide public-private partnership prepares Vermont workers for a variety of green jobs such as energy-efficient building, construction and retrofit; renewable electric power, energy efficient and advanced drive train vehicles, energy assessment, and recycling and waste reduction.

Who is eligible?

We can assist you if you are unemployed, looking for your first job, or currently employed but need specific training or support services to upgrade your green job skills. We are ready to work with individuals with diverse backgrounds including returning veterans, women, youth in transition and people with disabilities.

SEVCA is a one of five Vermont Community Action partners participating in the green job training program, led by the Central Vermont Community Action Council.
